About us

Our story

Digi-Talks consists of a group of committed and engaged students from several different Danish universities. The members of Digi-Talks study a wide range of topics such as Economics, Anthropology, Political Science, Psychology and International Business and Politics. Through our studies and experiences, we see that digitalization affect all levels of society and  business.

In Digi-Talks we aim to critically address both the possibilities and challenges of the growing digitization throughout society.

What do we do?

Through a wide variety of initiatives, we seek to create awareness about the impact of digitalization in society and business for univeristy students. Our main outlet is made up of events that focusses on showing ways that digitalization is being used and what some of the future consequences are. This fall semester of 2018 we will be hosting around 20 events, covering some of the most important and innovative ways of employing digitalization.

Besides hosting digitalization events, we also offer insights and updates of the digital frontier through our news feature on this website, our Facebook page and on Instagram.

Why do we do it?

At Digi-Talks, we firmly believe that universities represent a vital knowledge-institution in society. In this digital age, we think that it is paramount for these institutions to teach not just some, but all students, about the impact that digitalization is going to have on them. However, this is not what is currently happening and that is why we have created Digi-Talks – to connect university students across universities and give them a chance to prepare themselves for their digital future, regardless of their background and future endeavors.
